Well the snow just will not leave and Braidy has been itching to get outdoors riding! First race was cancelled due to snow and next weekends racing doesn't look to promising for now, but we'll see. Stay tuned for updates!!

Last nite was the Bayfield County Fair Race in Iron River, Wi held under the lights! This was a IRMXA event. Braidy raced 125A and 250A(for the first time!)
This was the hardest I have seen Braidy race yet! He went 4-3 for 3rd overall in 125A and had to race against a local pro (Eric Kowalik) who has raced AMA National races and another Pro(although it is from Sno-Cross) who is a Bobby LePage. I was really impressed on how well Braidy raced!!
250A class had Kowalik in it as well. Braidy went 4-4 for 4th overall, BUT Braidy was running 2nd the first moto and went down in a turn when the front end washed out on the last lap!! The second moto was the same thing, running 2nd and fell on the last lap AGAIN---aaarrrrggggg!!!! Well that's racing!!

Braidy suffered a really bad crash on 6-30-07 that resulted in his bike's radiators being destroyed! Braidy himself was uninjured, but unable to race on 7-1-07 because of soreness.
The crash was due to a flagger not paying attention to the jump they were flagging. It was avoidable IF the person flagging was doing their job!

Braidy got his new 2006 Honda CRF250R today. We plan to head down south in the next 2 weeks to get it broke in and get some seat time before the qulifiers start for us in April.

WE WILL BE HEADING TO FERGUS FALLS, MN(7-8 HOUR TRIP!) JAN 19-21 2007 TO RACE IN THE MOTOKAZIE WINTER INDOOR AX SERIES! WE WILL POST RESULTS AS SOON AS WE GET BACK.
BRAIDY WILL BE RACING 2 CLASSES SAT(JAN 20TH)NITE AND 2 CLASSES SUN(JAN 21ST)MORNING.

Well after racing only half the series races, Braidy managed to finish the points sereies in 5th place in both 125C and SchoolBoy 12-15. Now I wish Braidy would have made all the races for that series, I believe he would have won both championships!! Well there's always next year!

Well Braidy Thompson's MX outdoor season has come to a close this weekend with a first place finish in Schoolboy class and a 3rd place finish in 125C class.
Braidy raced all four motos with badly bruised ribs and a real sore back after a crash in practice, but managed to put the race face on an suffer the pain to pull off great finishes!!
There is one more race at the end of OCT that he may attend, but that depends on how the ribs are feeling.

Braidy will be back in action this weekend 8-5-06 at Valley Raceway in Crystal Falls,MI.Then on Sunday he'll be racing at Sugar Camp in Rhinelander,WI and then Wed, we leave for Millville for the Pro Nationals(and also the amature race!!!) Results for all of that will be posted after we return from MN.

Fridy afternoon 7-14-06, Braidy was at a practice track and got cross rutted going up a face of a jump and crashed hard, knocking himself unconcious. After the ride in the ambulance, x-rays, and CT scan- Braidy was only left with a concusion and a real sore body!
The crash was hard enough to break his Thor carbon fiber helmet and the only damage to the bike was a broken rear fender and side plates.
races for this upcoming weekend are now cancelled for Braidy as he needs more time to heal!!

Braidy raced at Ironwood,MI in 2 classes today. He raced in 125JR for a 3rd place overall finish and went 1 and 1 in 125C for the 1st place overall!!

Well we went and gained experience. braidy had to run a heat race and finished 20th, the top 16 went to the main and he had to run the LCQ and finished 11th and only the top 10 went on. He was outpowered by all the 4 strokes, they just pulled to hard on the sraights and uphills. All-in-all it was fun and hope to be back again next year, but with a 250F!!

Braidy raced saturday June 10,2006 at Ironwood,Mi at the State Line Motocross track as part of the 2006 Brule Sports MX Series. he raced in the 125JR 2 stroke only 12-15 class and the 125C class and won all four motos to take his first ever moto and overall wins!!! Moto 1 in the 125JR class was a walk away but theother 3 motos were very exciting as in the last moto of the 125C class Braidy was passed for the lead and then he grabbed a handful of throttle and took the lead back and walked away from 2nd place for the win.

Well Last weekend Braidy attempted to qualify for the LL regionals in 2 classes-125JR 12-15 age Stock and 125C Stock. Braidy qualified 4th in 125C Stock and missed the 125JR qualifying position by 3 spots! So that means Braidy is heading to Millville,MN for the LL Regional qualifier and needs to place top 6 there to go to the LL National Event!! We are hoping for the best

Braidy will be racing next weekend at Grantsburg,Wi. he will be entered in the Mini 12-15 and also the 125JR class. Results will be posted the following weekend.

I got my new(2002 IN THE CRATE!!!) Honda CR125 Friday!!!! Ready for the 125 JR class now!! I'll have some pics real soon!!!!
